What WARDOGSGuide is for

The site is designed to answer practical pre-launch questions: what WARDOGS is, when Steam Early Access is scheduled, how the current Playtest control should be interpreted, what Windows PC requirements are published, and where the official trailer and press assets can be viewed. Each search task has one primary page so dates, prices, access states, and requirements do not drift across duplicate articles. The homepage routes readers to those canonical answers. The updates page preserves dated official milestones without becoming a rumor feed.

WARDOGSGuide does not currently publish gameplay tutorials based on an unobserved build. It also does not create databases or tools before a complete, authorized, versioned dataset exists. A useful-sounding answer is not enough; the page must have evidence that matches the requested level of specificity. Missing platform details, future test windows, exact unlock times, and independent performance results remain 待确认 / Unconfirmed.

How WARDOGSGuide sources are prioritized

WARDOGSGuide sources start with the official Steam listing, its region-scoped store response, the Team17 game page, the Team17 reveal announcement, the official Team17 YouTube trailer, and the Team17 press hub. Those records support different claim types. Steam is authoritative for the live store state, platform, price shown to a selected region, Playtest control, Early Access date, and system requirements. Team17 supports the official game description, reveal record, trailer, and media library.

Search tools such as Similarweb, Keyword Planner, and Google Trends can identify player demand, but they cannot prove game facts. A high-volume query does not establish player count, sales, server population, a feature, or a release date. Community posts may reveal a question worth researching, yet they do not automatically enter published factual copy. The source class must match the claim.

Evidence classes and verification dates

OFFICIAL means a current publisher, developer, platform, or official channel record. FIRST_HAND requires a legal build, a recorded version, a reproducible method, and the relevant environment; this project does not yet have public first-hand build evidence. SEARCH_SIGNAL describes demand rather than the game. UNKNOWN or 待确认 / Unconfirmed is used when the evidence is missing, ambiguous, stale, or too broad for the claim.

Every time-sensitive page displays a last-verified date. That date does not guarantee the field will never change; it marks when the cited source was checked. Price also carries a country boundary, because the captured $39.99 value belongs to the United States store response. If a source changes, the newer value replaces the old current answer while a dated timeline preserves only historically relevant milestones.

Media ownership and editorial use

The WARDOGS name, official key art, press screenshots, trailer, trademarks, and game materials belong to their respective rights holders. WARDOGSGuide uses five Team17 press assets as attributed editorial illustrations and embeds the official trailer without downloading or rehosting the video. Image records include their local dimensions, descriptive alt text, source identifier, caption, and verification date. The independent WARDOGSGuide brand mark does not replace or impersonate the official game logo.

Media is never treated as hidden data. A pictured vehicle does not reveal armor, speed, controls, availability, or launch-build status. A visible structure does not establish destruction rules, and edited footage does not prove frame rate or server capacity. Captions make those limits explicit so the visual redesign improves recognition without weakening the evidence standard.

How WARDOGSGuide corrections work

WARDOGSGuide corrections should identify the affected route, the statement that changed, the newer authoritative source, and the date of verification. The correction updates the current answer rather than blending two incompatible values. If official sources conflict, the page narrows the claim or marks it unconfirmed until the conflict is resolved. No number, character name, code, date, or mechanic is filled in from memory.

A public correction form or contact address has not been approved for this local MVP, so that channel is 待确认 / Unconfirmed. Until one exists, the correction policy is implemented through source-linked page maintenance. The site's About page documents the rule even when no external submission mechanism is available. Future publication should add contact details only after ownership, privacy, and operating responsibility are approved.

What the site intentionally postpones

Guides that depend on live balance, complete maps, exact weapon values, progression formulas, role recommendations, crash reproduction, controller tests, or hardware benchmarks remain research work. They require legal access and versioned evidence, not just demand. Platform questions beyond the confirmed Windows Steam listing also remain open. The site can grow after evidence exists, but page count is not used as a reason to publish thin or speculative URLs.

Release operations are separate from content quality. WARDOGSGuide is published at wardogsguide.net through a GitHub-backed Cloudflare Pages deployment. Analytics, advertising, Search Console, sitemap submission, and indexing requests remain separate decisions; they are not enabled merely because the public site exists.
